Chata Isleña
Santa Rita offers you the possibility to embark on board to
discover and enjoy the Delta del Tigre, an incredible
100 square miles geological formation pertaining to what is
called the First Section of the Delta del Paraná, near
its flowing into the Río de la Plata, where the Delta
extends into a huge proliferation of diverging branches,
islands and banks.
An historically rich
place, initiated in 1580 by spaniard Juan de Garay and the
second foundation of Buenos Aires where its former
denomination, the so called
Río de las Conchas is already been named. In the 18th century Tigre witnessed a golden
era with the construction of the Tigre
Hotel , the Tigre Club, mansions and residences in the finest Belle Epoque
style which gave it that strange mixture of splendor and natural
savagery that we enjoy today in its landscapes.
Hosted by its Captain,
an experienced Yacht Pilot, you will be able to navigate on board
Chata Isleña Santa Rita the islands and streams of Delta
del Tigre and get to know this natural environment. Embark on a fishing trip, meet
with friends, or enjoy a typical "asado criollo" on board, prepared
in the well known Patagonian Barbecue .
